Pod X3 Live
I own a Pod X3 Live and the Pod XT live with all the extra FX packs. The Pod Xt was great but I thought that the X3 would be a lot better. Unfortunately that isn't the case. The dual tones on the X3 sound cool in headphones but unless you have two amps to play through the dual tone seems to get lost in a live situation. The mic input on the X3 is useful for recording but I haven't tried it live. The overall tone if each unit is similar. I have found little difference between systems on tone quality in live situations. Some of the clean tones on the X3 have been improved slightly but again, in a live situation the difference is minimal. As a recording tool I like the X3 much better than the XT. The X3 has USB connectivity and you can download the Pod Farm add-on for your recording software (You have to have your X3 connected to use the add-on). The volume pedal on the X3 is better but I find the new foot switches difficult to change on the fly. Overall if I was primarily looking for a recording tool I would upgrade to the X3. If I were strictly using the unit live I would stick with the Xt.

Guitar effects and Worship
There seems to be a few good sites around that talk about worship and guitar. I will entertain you with my thoughts on guitar tech and worship.
